The Season
Throughout the season rider’s can opt to compete in race events from all around the state. Rider’s are not required to race, but encouraged, competing is made to be as fun and easy to get into. There are five races, in the first four the North and South Conferences will compete separately, then final fifth race combines the whole state for an epic finale. Rider’s must start in at least three races to qualify for the final.
A Typical RACE
The Day Before
Plan to arrive at around 4:30 the day before the RACE to preride of the course. You’ll need:
- Your race plate (these will be given out during warm up at the first race)
- Sign up for pit zone food and drink using Sign-Up Genius
- Pack camping gear for the expected weather
RACE Days
Volunteers from our team will set up our tents in the Pitzone around 7:00. Organize food, snacks, and drinks that were brought by our families. Race race race! At 1:00 after all the races have finished, a team lunch will be held at the tent. If you are not able to arrive at the tent early and help set up, then just make sure you get to the Pitzone at least 45 minutes before your rider’s race. Find out when your rider is racing by asking a coach through Remind.
